1. About these terms

These Website Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the ISO Lite Bites website and to the purchase of digital products, including online mini-courses, collections, downloads and related services made available through the website and related platforms.

The website and services are operated by Stanchion Group Limited trading as ISO Lite Bites (“ISO Lite Bites”, “we”, “us” or “our”). If you purchase from the website, these terms form part of the contract between you and Stanchion Group Limited trading as ISO Lite Bites.

By using this website, creating an account, or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by these terms together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referred to on the website.

2. Eligibility and use of the website

The website and products are intended for users aged 18 or over. By using the website or purchasing a product, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have capacity to enter into a binding contract.

You agree to use the website lawfully and not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, upload harmful code, or use the content for unlawful, misleading or fraudulent purposes.

3. Products and course information

ISO Lite Bites offers short digital learning products designed to provide practical training, guidance and tools relating to ISO, QHSE and related compliance topics. Product descriptions, pricing and availability are shown on the website and may be updated from time to time.

Reasonable efforts are made to ensure that course descriptions, pricing, duration, contents and access details are accurate. However, minor changes may occasionally be made to improve or update products, provided such changes do not materially reduce the overall value of the product purchased.

The content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. Unless expressly agreed in writing, purchase of a course does not create a consulting relationship and does not constitute legal advice, certification advice, or a guarantee of certification, business outcomes or compliance outcomes.

4. Ordering and payment

When you place an order through the website or learner platform, you are offering to purchase the selected digital product at the price shown at checkout. A contract is formed when payment is successfully processed and an order confirmation is issued.

Payments are processed through a third-party payment provider, such as Stripe. ISO Lite Bites does not store full payment card details on its own servers.

All prices are stated in the currency shown on the website. Where applicable, taxes or VAT will be dealt with in accordance with UK law and clearly presented during the checkout process.

If payment is declined, reversed, charged back or otherwise not received in full, ISO Lite Bites reserves the right to suspend or withdraw access to the relevant product until the issue is resolved.

5. Digital access and delivery

Following successful payment, access to the relevant mini-course, collection or download will usually be provided by confirmation email, secure link, platform access or other digital delivery method stated on the website.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact details and for checking your email inbox and spam folder. If access is not received within a reasonable period, you should contact admin@isolitebites.com.

Access is granted only to the named purchaser unless the product is expressly sold as a team, corporate or multi-user licence. Login details or access links must not be shared with others.

6. Consumer cancellation and refunds

If you are buying as a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. However, for digital content supplied immediately, this cancellation right may be lost once you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that the right to cancel is lost once delivery or access begins.

Where a refund is requested before access to the digital content has begun, ISO Lite Bites will normally provide a full refund in line with applicable consumer law.

If access has already begun, refunds may be limited or unavailable unless required by law or unless ISO Lite Bites chooses to offer a refund under its published refund terms, for example in cases of duplicate purchase, technical failure or other exceptional circumstances.

Nothing in these terms affects any rights you may have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.

7. Business customers

If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, organisation or employer, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, products purchased by business customers are supplied for internal training and development purposes only and are subject to the licence restrictions set out below.

8. Intellectual property and licence

All content on the website and within ISO Lite Bites products, including text, videos, course structures, templates, checklists, downloads, graphics, branding and materials, is owned by or licensed to Stanchion Group Limited trading as ISO Lite Bites and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

When you purchase a product, ISO Lite Bites grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use that product for your own personal professional development or, where purchased by a business, for the agreed internal business use only.

You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, sub-license, share publicly, upload to third-party platforms, modify for resale, scrape, record for redistribution, or otherwise exploit any part of the website or products without prior written permission.

9. Acceptable use of course content

You may download and use templates or checklists supplied with a course for your own internal learning or implementation purposes, but you must not present them as your own commercial product or redistribute them outside your organisation unless the relevant licence expressly allows this.

Any breach of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of access without refund, together with any further legal action that may be appropriate.

10. Accounts, passwords and security

If any product requires an account, login, secure link or password, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of those details and for all activity carried out using your credentials.

You must notify ISO Lite Bites promptly if you believe your account or access details have been compromised.

11. Website availability and changes

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website and products available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Access may occasionally be suspended, restricted or interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, technical issues or circumstances outside reasonable control.

ISO Lite Bites may improve, change, withdraw or replace website content, products or features from time to time. If a purchased product is materially affected, reasonable steps will be taken to provide an appropriate remedy where required by law.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to the paragraph above, ISO Lite Bites shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, or loss arising from your reliance on the content as a substitute for tailored professional advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability arising out of or in connection with any product or order shall be limited to the amount paid by you for that product.

13. Links to third-party websites and tools

The website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms or tools for convenience. ISO Lite Bites is not responsible for the content, availability or terms of third-party websites or services, and your use of them is at your own risk.

14. Privacy and data protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with the ISO Lite Bites Privacy Policy. By using the website or purchasing products, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed as described in that policy.

15. Complaints and support

16. General

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.  A failure or delay by ISO Lite Bites to enforce any right under these terms does not amount to a waiver of that right. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you live. The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, except where consumer law provides otherwise.
