Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Stanchion Group Limited trading as ISO Lite Bites (“ISO Lite Bites”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit our website, purchase our online mini‑courses or otherwise interact with us.

By using our website, joining our email list or purchasing our products, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the revised version on our website with an updated “last updated” date.

This Policy applies in addition to any specific contractual terms you enter into with us (for example, our course terms and conditions). If there is any conflict, the contractual terms will take precedence.

1. What data we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to provide or that is necessary to deliver our services. This may include:

  • Contact details: name, email address, job title/role, organisation.
  • Account information: login/email for any learning platform we use.
  • Transaction information: products purchased, amount paid, currency, and limited payment details (we do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by our payment provider).
  • Communication data: emails you send us, your responses to surveys or feedback forms.
  • Usage data: high‑level information about course enrolments and completion (e.g. which minis you access and complete).

We do not intentionally collect special category data (e.g. health data) or national identifiers, and we do not collect data from children under 18. ISO Lite Bites is aimed at adult professionals.

2. How we use your data

We use your personal data only for specific, limited purposes, such as:

  • Providing our services
  • Processing your orders and payments.
  • Giving you access to online courses, downloads and related materials.
  • Sending essential service emails (e.g. confirmations, access links, important course updates).
  • Communicating with you
  • Responding to your enquiries and support requests.
  • Sending occasional ISO Lite Bites updates, resources and course information where you have opted in or where it is reasonable to do so in a purely professional context. You can opt out at any time.
  • Improving our courses and services
  • Monitoring course enrolments, completion rates and quiz performance.
  • Evaluating which topics are most useful and where improvements are needed.
  • Using anonymised or aggregated information to help plan future content.

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for these purposes and to meet any legal, tax or accounting requirements.

3. Legal bases for processing

Depending on the situation, we rely on one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Contract: to process your order, provide you with access to courses and respond to your direct enquiries.
  • Consent: where you have explicitly agreed to receive marketing emails or other optional communications.
  • Legitimate interests: for limited professional outreach and to understand how our services are used, provided your rights and interests are not overridden.

You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us (admin@isolitebites.com).

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

We may share your data with carefully selected service providers who help us deliver our services, such as:

  • Payment processors (e.g. Stripe).
  • Course hosting / learning platform providers.
  • Email or marketing systems (for sending service and marketing emails).

These providers only process your data on our instructions and are required to keep it secure and confidential.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or in order to protect our legal rights.

If you follow links to other websites (for example, to external resources or third‑party platforms), their privacy practices will apply. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or content of third‑party websites.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers or their systems may be located outside the UK/EEA. Where this is the case, we will take appropriate steps to ensure your data is protected, for example by using providers that implement recognised safeguards for international transfers.

6. Security and confidentiality

We are committed to keeping your data secure and taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access, use or disclosure.  Access to personal data is limited to those who need it to perform their role.

We use password protection and appropriate security measures on our systems and third‑party platforms.  Payment details such as full card numbers are processed securely by our payment provider and are not stored on our servers.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure. While we take steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee security of data sent to us via email or over the Internet before it reaches our systems.

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable data protection laws (including UK GDPR), you have rights in relation to your personal data, which may include:

  • Right of access – to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification – to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure – to request deletion of your data, in certain circumstances.
  • Right to restriction of processing – to limit how we use your data in certain cases.
  • Right to data portability – to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible.
  • Right to object – to object to certain processing, including direct marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us directly at admin@isolitebites.com. Service‑critical emails related to your purchases may still be sent where required.

8. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from children under the age of 18. If you believe we have collected personal data from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Cookies and usage data

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to improve functionality and understand how visitors use the site (for example, basic analytics). Details of any cookies used and how you can manage your preferences may be set out in a separate Cookie Notice.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements or best practice. We will post the updated Policy on our website with a revised “last updated” date. Where changes are significant, we may also notify you by email or by a notice on the website.
